The Garden Room opens straight onto our terrace through French doors, where guests often spill out with drinks in hand during summer celebrations. We've hosted everything from 50th birthday dinners to christening parties in this light-filled space, and the flexibility really shows, whether you're planning seated dining for 50 or drinks and canapés for up to 60 guests. Deep blue upholstered seating runs along the walls, giving your guests comfortable spots to chat between courses, while the wooden floors and contemporary artwork create that relaxed but polished feel we're known for. The large windows frame views of our landscaped gardens, and when the sun streams in during afternoon parties, the whole room takes on this wonderful warm glow. Chris Wheeler and his kitchen team work their magic for every event here, from sharing platters that get everyone talking to three-course dinners featuring his signature British dishes. We've noticed how the direct terrace access changes the whole dynamic of parties, guests naturally flow between inside and out, especially during those long summer evenings when nobody wants to leave. The room comes equipped with Wi-Fi and our PA system, handy for speeches or background music, and we always make sure the tables are set exactly how you picture them. Being tucked away in Farnham Royal village means your guests find us easily (there's plenty of free parking), yet once they're here, it feels properly removed from the everyday. Burnham Beeches Nature Reserve is just down the road, which adds to that countryside feel without being remote.
