The soaring brick walls of Jerwood Hall tell stories from three centuries, and we're excited to add yours to the collection. This remarkable space combines the grandeur of our Grade I-listed building with everything modern events demand, creating an atmosphere that works equally well for symphony orchestras and celebratory dinners. Step into the hall and you'll immediately notice the natural light streaming through our enormous soundproof windows, illuminating the original 18th-century brickwork that gives the space its character. We've carefully preserved these architectural features while adding acoustic banners along the walls and ceiling, ensuring crystal-clear sound whether you're hosting a jazz quartet or delivering speeches to 400 guests. The vaulted ceilings create a sense of occasion that transforms even corporate presentations into something memorable. Our flexible approach means we can configure Jerwood Hall exactly as you need it. For banquets, we comfortably seat 220 guests with room for dancing afterwards. Theatre-style, we accommodate 414, while standing receptions can welcome up to 425 people. The attractive balcony adds another dimension, offering 98 additional seats that work brilliantly for VIP areas or creating a more intimate concert atmosphere. For cabaret-style events, we arrange seating for 200 with space for performers and mingling. The 21m x 19.5m floor space adapts to your vision, and our professional sound system and dimmable lighting help set exactly the right mood. Electronic blinds provide complete blackout when needed for projections or atmospheric lighting effects. We regularly host everything from recording sessions and live broadcasts to wedding receptions and award ceremonies. The excellent acoustics that attract symphony orchestras also ensure your party band sounds incredible. Just minutes from Old Street Station, our central location makes arriving easy for all your guests. The venue reopens in Autumn 2025, and we're taking bookings for 2026 onwards.
