The **Chandos Lounge** greets you on the ground floor with wooden paneling that's seen four decades of London's creative conversations. We've arranged vintage armchairs alongside contemporary pieces, creating corners where your guests naturally drift into discussion while others gather around our well-stocked bar. Natural light pours through the large windows during afternoon events, while evenings bring that particular glow of warm lamplight against polished wood. For cocktail receptions, we can welcome up to 40 standing guests who tend to circulate between the bar and the various seating areas we've scattered throughout. The space transforms beautifully when you need seated arrangements, accommodating 20 guests in theatre, classroom or cabaret style. Our furniture moves easily, so we adapt the room to match your vision, whether that's clearing the centre for mingling or creating intimate conversation clusters. The bar stands ready with everything from local craft ales to carefully chosen wines and spirits. Our kitchen, just upstairs, sends down plates of canapés featuring seasonal British ingredients with those continental touches our members have come to expect.
