Victorian heritage meets contemporary celebration in The Oval Room, where wooden floors gleam beneath streams of natural light pouring through floor-to-ceiling windows. We've watched this space transform from morning corporate presentations to evening wedding receptions, each event making the most of those spectacular views across our croquet and bowls lawns. The room comfortably hosts 150 guests for standing receptions, with your own private bar keeping drinks flowing throughout the evening. For seated dinners, we arrange tables for up to 100, and the flexibility goes beyond numbers - theatre style works brilliantly for 130, whilst boardroom setups accommodate 50 for more intimate gatherings. Corporate clients particularly appreciate our classroom and U-shaped configurations, both seating 100, alongside the integrated PA system and flatscreen TV for presentations. Summer celebrations naturally spill onto the private patio directly off the main room. We've seen countless cocktail hours unfold here, guests chatting with drinks in hand as the sun sets over the lawns. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable during packed July parties, whilst the modern lighting system sets exactly the right mood as evening approaches. Just a short walk from Putney Bridge Station, arriving guests find us easily, with on-street parking available for those driving. The 2019 refurbishment brought every technical element up to date whilst preserving the character that makes this space special. We've hosted charity fundraisers one week and product launches the next, each event feeling entirely different despite using the same beautiful space. Our in-house restaurant team handles all catering requirements, from formal three-course dinners to relaxed canapé service, working with you to create menus that match your celebration perfectly.
