The Hurlingham Suite transforms from dawn meetings to midnight galas with the kind of flexibility that only comes from proper Georgian architecture. We're talking about the East Wing here, recently renovated but keeping all the character that makes corporate events feel less corporate and more like you've borrowed a rather grand friend's house for the evening. The Palm Court is the real showpiece, with its 30-metre domed ceiling that does something rather special. During daytime conferences, natural light pours through, keeping everyone awake without harsh fluorescents. Come evening, you're dining under actual stars, which beats any projection mapping we've seen at other venues. The floor-to-ceiling doors open straight onto our terraces, where guests inevitably drift during networking breaks, drinks in hand, taking in views across to the Thames. We can seat 1,000 for gala dinners, with proper elbow room and space for the band, or pack in 1,200 for standing receptions when you need the numbers. The interconnected rooms mean you can section off areas for VIP drinks, registration desks, or quieter conversation spots without anyone feeling tucked away in a cupboard. Our AV setup handles everything from shareholder presentations to fashion show lighting, all discretely wired so you're not tripping over cables in your evening wear. The in-house catering team knows their way around both canapé receptions and five-course dinners, with menus that actually reflect what people want to eat rather than what looks impressive on paper.
