LAB 026 sits as the centrepiece of our Lord Ashcroft Building, a ground floor lecture theatre where 400 guests can gather comfortably in tiered, blue-cushioned seating. The semi-circular arrangement means everyone has clear views of your presentation, with the large projection screen commanding attention at the front of the room. Walking into this space, you'll notice the warm wooden panels across the ceiling, contrasting beautifully with the contemporary design. We've installed comprehensive audiovisual equipment throughout, including both handheld and lapel microphones that connect seamlessly to our PA system. The projector and screens are ready for your content, while the well-positioned lectern and control desk give presenters everything they need within easy reach. The theatre works particularly well for conferences, large seminars and substantial workshops. Though natural light doesn't reach this space, we've carefully designed the artificial lighting to maintain energy and focus throughout long sessions. The bright, even illumination helps keep attendees engaged, whether you're running a half-day conference or an intensive training programme. Our Cambridge campus location means your guests can reach us easily via public transport, with the city's main landmarks nearby. We offer in-house catering services, including halal options, to keep your attendees refreshed throughout the day. Eliza at ARU was so helpful upon my arrival and helping me to set up the laptop. I would definitely recommend the use of their facilities going forward and thanks to Zipcube for their extensive promotion of the venue, or our charity would have been unaware of the rooms...
