The octagonal ceiling catches your eye first, its recessed lighting cleverly echoing the chapel ceiling elsewhere in our historic building. We've designed the Learning Centre to be our most contemporary space, where modern functionality meets the character of our 700-year-old venue. At 13.7 meters by 5.4 meters, this bright room works brilliantly for different setups. We regularly configure it for 60 people theatre-style when companies host presentations, or arrange round tables for 50 when teams need collaborative workshops. The large windows flood the space with natural light throughout the day, while the warm wooden paneling creates an inviting atmosphere that helps people feel comfortable and focused. Our technical setup includes everything you'd expect for professional meetings: a high-quality projector, flatscreen TV, and PA system that delivers crystal-clear audio across the room. The podium works well for keynote speakers, and we've made sure the acoustics complement both presentations and group discussions. Many clients appreciate how the contemporary design helps their content shine while the subtle historical touches remind everyone they're somewhere special. Getting here from Barbican or Farringdon stations takes just a few minutes on foot, and we have full accessibility with lifts and accessible facilities throughout. The flexibility of the space means we can adapt layouts quickly, whether you need U-shape seating for training sessions, cabaret style for interactive workshops, or classroom rows for lectures. Our location between Smithfield Market and the Barbican gives you plenty of options for before or after your meeting.
