Our open-plan studio at Buttercluck Studio has become home to a small group of creative freelancers who appreciate having their own dedicated workspace without the isolation of working from home. We've set up three desks in our space at 1A Vine Court, right off Whitechapel High Street, where each person gets their own permanent spot to spread out and make their own. The studio flows naturally between work and break areas. We've got a proper kitchen where people actually cook lunch (not just reheat leftovers), plus a breakfast bar that doubles as our informal meeting spot. The living area has comfortable seating where we often find ourselves chatting about projects or just taking a proper break from our screens. Getting here couldn't be easier - we're tucked down a secure alleyway just three minutes from Whitechapel tube station. If you're coming from Aldgate, it's about a seven-minute walk. Once you're part of the studio, you'll have your own key fob for 24/7 access, so whether you're an early bird or prefer working late, you can come and go as you please. We've found that having just three desks keeps things intimate and collaborative. Everyone here is freelance, mostly in creative fields, and we've built a supportive environment where people genuinely help each other out. It's the kind of place where someone might ask for feedback on a design or share a contact who could help with your project. At £250 per month per desk, we offer a proper alternative to coffee shop hopping or bedroom offices.
