About Searcys Champagne Bar at Battersea
Our champagne bar occupies a spectacular corner of Battersea Power Station's 1930s Art Deco Turbine Hall A, where original architectural details create an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else in London. We've furnished the space with deep velvet seating in rich jewel tones and polished brass fixtures that catch the light from our marble-topped bar. Three commissioned pieces by artist Kristjana Williams hang throughout, each telling part of Searcys' story through her distinctive collage style. We pour champagne from houses like Krug, Drappier, and Taittinger by the glass, bottle, or magnum, and we're particularly proud of our English sparkling wine selection. Our kitchen serves boards of Colchester Rock and Native oysters alongside our signature smoked salmon, plus seasonal small plates designed to complement the bubbles. Every month, we host Champagne Tasting Trios where our Head of Champagne, Martin Dibben, guides guests through three expressions from a featured house—these sessions fill up quickly with both regulars and those just beginning their champagne journey. The space works beautifully for different occasions. We've hosted everything from 20-person birthday gatherings to corporate networking events for 80 guests when you take the whole venue. The acoustics in the Turbine Hall mean conversations flow easily even when we're busy, and the bar's position gives everyone great views of the restored power station architecture. For private parties, we can arrange bespoke champagne pairings, customize the menu to your preferences, and our team will ensure your guests' glasses stay topped up throughout the evening.
