About Sweet Space
The afternoon sun streams through our west-facing windows at Sweet Space, illuminating the original maple floors that have been here since 1869. We're tucked into 138 Grand Street, right where Soho meets Little Italy, in one of those classic Manhattan cast-iron buildings that photographers dream about. Our 1,600-square-foot loft has been a working photo studio since 1978, and we've kept all the character that makes creative professionals choose us for their meetings and workshops. The exposed brick walls and wooden columns—actually repurposed ship's masts from the building's original construction—create an atmosphere you won't find in typical corporate meeting rooms. With 40 people maximum, we maintain an intimate scale that works perfectly for strategy sessions, team workshops, and creative presentations. What sets us apart for meetings is the quality of natural light. The south and west exposures mean your team gets energizing daylight throughout the day, not harsh fluorescents. We've watched countless groups spread out across the wide-board floors, using the brick walls for brainstorming sessions and the open layout for breakout discussions.
