About The Classroom
Our converted barn at West Town Farm has become the go-to meeting space for teams who want something different from the usual conference room. We've kept the original wooden beams and rustic character while making sure everything works perfectly for modern meetings and training sessions. The Classroom comfortably fits 30 people seated or up to 50 standing, giving you flexibility for different session styles. We've equipped the space with a projector, Wi-Fi that actually works reliably, flipchart, and all the tables and chairs you'll need. During cooler months, the woodburner creates a cozy atmosphere that gets everyone relaxed and ready to collaborate. What makes meetings here special is the access to our farm's outdoor spaces. When your team needs a break or you want to run outdoor activities, you can use our orchard, wander the tree-lined trails, or gather around our fire pit area. These natural breakout spaces change the whole dynamic of a meeting day. The events kitchen next door means you can easily organize catering, whether that's a working lunch or just keeping the coffee flowing. We can arrange organic refreshments and biscuits from our farm shop if you'd like to treat your team to something local. Parking is free and plentiful, so nobody's rushing to top up meters or searching for spaces. The Classroom works brilliantly for training sessions, team meetings, workshops, and community gatherings throughout the year. We're open weekdays, weekends, and evenings, and we'll help set up the space exactly how you need it. Being based in Ide, just outside Exeter, we're easy to reach but far enough from the city buzz to help teams focus and think clearly.
