About William and Anita Newman Conference Center at Baruch
The seventh floor of Baruch College buzzes with energy when our conference center hosts its daily mix of corporate meetings and celebratory gatherings. Here at the William and Anita Newman Conference Center, we've created spaces that work equally well for board meetings and cocktail receptions, all just a quick walk from both Penn and Grand Central stations at 151 East 25th Street. Our main showpiece, the Asriel and Marie T. Rackow Conference Room, spans 2,602 square feet and regularly fills with up to 170 attendees for presentations and seminars. The room's auditorium-style seating works perfectly for keynote speeches, while our audiovisual team handles everything from microphones to projection screens. Right next door, the Faculty Lounge offers 2,207 square feet of open space where we often see networking receptions unfold, with guests mingling over appetizers prepared in our full commercial kitchen. For smaller gatherings, we offer several intimate spaces. Rooms 755 and 765 each accommodate 12 people around elegant boardroom tables - we see executive teams book these for strategy sessions almost daily. Room 763 fits 40 attendees and frequently hosts training workshops and departmental meetings. All our spaces meet ADA compliance standards, with elevator access and accessible restrooms throughout. Our kitchen gives you complete flexibility with catering choices. While we maintain relationships with several preferred caterers who know our guidelines inside and out, you're welcome to bring in your own catering team. The kitchen staff can coordinate service for anything from working lunches to formal dinners. We also provide coat check services on the same floor, and our security team includes both uniformed and plainclothes officers when your event requires additional coverage.
