Step inside The Derby Conference Centre and you'll find yourself surrounded by the sweeping curves and geometric details of 1930s Art Deco architecture. Our Grade II listed building on London Road has been welcoming guests since its construction, and we've carefully preserved its most striking features while adding everything modern events need to run smoothly. The famous Sunken Lounge remains the heart of our venue - its original design creates an intimate atmosphere that works equally well for wedding receptions or networking breaks between conference sessions. Throughout the building, period features like our sweeping staircase provide natural photo opportunities and conversation starters. We can accommodate groups from 10 to 400 across our 15 conference and meeting rooms. Each space comes equipped with high-definition projectors and super-fast fibre optic Wi-Fi that actually works when you need it. For multi-day events or out-of-town delegates, we have 50 en-suite bedrooms right here in the building, plus self-catering options at India House for longer stays. Our fully licensed bar and bistro keeps everyone fed and watered throughout the day - whether that's morning coffee and pastries or a three-course wedding breakfast. With over 300 complimentary parking spaces, your guests won't spend the first half hour of their visit hunting for somewhere to leave their car. We're just off the M1 and M42, and East Midlands Airport is a short drive away. The entire building is wheelchair accessible, with level access and lifts to all floors. We host everything from corporate training days and annual conferences to the monthly Derby Comedy Club and tribute nights. Wedding couples particularly love how the Art Deco details create a ready-made theme for their celebrations.
