The John Hendry Pavilion transforms from an empty canvas into whatever your celebration demands. We've watched this 1,752 square metre space become everything from glittering wedding receptions to buzzing trade shows, and it never fails to impress us how differently it can look each time. Those sturdy brick walls and soaring ceilings create an industrial backdrop that works brilliantly with modern decorations, while natural light pours through the windows all day long. We can accommodate 1,700 guests for cocktail parties, seat 1,000 theatre-style for presentations, or arrange tables for 800 at banquets. The neutral palette means your chosen colours and lighting will truly pop, whether you're going for elegant sophistication or festival vibes. Our technical setup includes high-speed wireless internet throughout, a full PA system, and air conditioning that actually works when you need it. Power and water access points are distributed across the floor, so your suppliers can set up wherever makes sense for your layout. The space connects directly to our Maidstone Exhibition Hall when you need even more room, though most find the Pavilion itself more than generous. Catering flexibility remains one of our strongest points. Bring your preferred caterers or work with our in-house team, who handle everything from canapés to three-course dinners, including halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free options. Our alcohol licence runs until 11pm with extensions available, and you're welcome to supply your own drinks if you prefer.
