When you book our Whole Venue Hire, you're taking over every corner of our working brewery and distillery for your celebration. The exposed Victorian brickwork and copper brewing equipment create an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else in Canterbury, while plush red and beige booths line the walls, giving your guests comfortable spots to settle between mingling. We can accommodate up to 200 guests for a standing reception or 60 for a seated dinner, with wooden tables and chairs that our team arranges to match your vision. Natural light pours through large windows during daytime events, while pendant lights cast a warm glow as evening arrives. The space flows naturally from our restaurant area into the bar, letting your party spread out or come together as the mood takes them. Your guests can watch our brewers at work through the day, with the gleaming copper stills and fermentation tanks providing a unique backdrop for photos. We've decorated the walls with black-and-white photographs and contemporary art that tell the story of our building's industrial past. The high ceilings keep the space feeling open even when filled with celebration. Our kitchen prepares everything from hearty pub classics to American brewpub-inspired dishes, all made with locally sourced ingredients. We'll work with you to create a menu that suits your event, accommodating any dietary requirements. The bar serves our 16 house-brewed ales, lagers and ciders, plus nine spirits distilled right here using English barley. For groups wanting something special, we arrange brewery tours where your guests learn our processes before sampling the results. The Old Brewery Tavern section offers a more intimate space within the venue if some guests prefer a quieter moment.
