Three wooden huts sit in our beer garden, each painted forest green inside and kitted out with its own TV screen and heating system that keeps things toasty even on December evenings. We built these after watching too many summer parties get rained off, and now they're booked solid through winter for everything from Christmas dinners to birthday celebrations. Each hut accommodates up to 10 people around solid wooden tables with bench seating. We've added cushions in bright colours that our regulars joke clash wonderfully with the green walls, but somehow it all works. The open fronts mean you still feel part of the garden atmosphere while staying completely dry, and the heaters kick out enough warmth that we've had February birthday parties where guests kept their coats off all evening. Our kitchen serves the full menu directly to the huts, from sharing platters of fish and chips to our Sunday roasts that disappear fast on busy weekends. The individual TV screens mean your group can watch the match without competing with the main bar crowd, though we've also hosted business lunches where the screens stayed off and the focus stayed on conversation. The weatherproof construction means we never have to cancel bookings, rain or shine. Groups particularly love having their own semi-private space while still being part of the pub atmosphere. We've seen everything from reunion dinners to informal team meetings happen in these huts, with the garden setting adding something special compared to a standard function room. Being on Wallington Green puts us within easy reach, just 30 minutes from Central London and Gatwick Airport. The combination of outdoor dining with guaranteed weather protection has made these huts unexpectedly popular for both planned celebrations and spontaneous gatherings when friends want somewhere different from the usual restaurant booking.
