The glass wall dividing our Laigh Hall creates two distinct yet connected spaces, each with its own character but working together beautifully for larger celebrations. We regularly watch as parties naturally flow between these areas, with guests discovering our historical musical instruments displayed throughout, sparking conversations and creating memorable moments. Warm wooden floors catch the soft lighting we've carefully positioned to create just the right atmosphere for your celebration. The space holds up to 140 guests for standing receptions, though we find the dual areas work particularly well for events where you want both lively party zones and quieter corners for conversation. For seated gatherings, we can accommodate 60 guests comfortably. Our ground floor location means everyone can access the space easily, including those using wheelchairs, and we welcome assistance dogs. The proximity to Waverley Station and major bus routes running through Edinburgh's Old Town makes arrival straightforward for all your guests.
