The original Oozells Street School architecture from the 1800s sets the stage for private dining events at our whole venue. Exposed brick walls with soaring arched windows frame the space, while patina-rich metals and raw concrete tell the story of Birmingham's industrial heritage. We've softened these historic elements with warm wooden tables and chairs, creating an atmosphere that feels both grand and intimate for your gathering. Our indoor café accommodates 50 seated guests across thoughtfully arranged tables, each dressed with elegant glassware and place settings. Pendant lighting casts a warm glow throughout the evening, while natural light streams through those magnificent windows during daytime events. The abundance of greenery woven throughout the space brings life to every corner, complemented by herbs we grow ourselves on the terrace. Step outside to discover our sun-drenched terrace, where another 50 guests can dine alfresco surrounded by our herb garden. Views across Brindleyplace create a dynamic backdrop for summer parties and evening receptions. For standing events, we can host up to 80 guests who flow naturally between indoor and outdoor spaces, with your own private bar serving craft cocktails, specialty coffees, and carefully selected wines. Our kitchen prepares everything from substantial brunch dishes to evening sharing boards, with strong vegetarian and vegan offerings ensuring every guest is well catered for. As the evening progresses, we dim the lights and turn up your chosen music, transforming the space into something altogether different. With licensing until 2am, corporate celebrations, birthday parties, and special occasions can continue long into the night. Transport couldn't be simpler, with our Brindleyplace location offering excellent connections across Birmingham.
