The Garden and the Cafe brings together two of our most beloved spaces at The Rotunda, where Georgian history meets contemporary comfort. Step into our cafe and you'll find yourself surrounded by walls filled with vintage photographs and local memorabilia, each piece telling its own story of Liverpool's past. We've mixed colourful chairs with wooden tables throughout, creating distinct zones where groups naturally gather for everything from birthday celebrations to creative workshops. Natural light pours through our large windows, illuminating the eclectic collection of artwork and creating the perfect atmosphere for daytime events. The space comfortably accommodates 20 guests in boardroom style, 30 for seated dining, or up to 35 for standing receptions. Our PA system handles both background music and presentations, while free Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected throughout your event. Through the cafe doors, our garden unfolds as a genuine urban retreat. Fruit trees arch overhead, their blossoms giving way to seasonal harvests, while herbaceous borders burst with colour from spring through autumn. We've placed picnic tables beneath the flowering canopy, creating natural gathering spots for alfresco dining or casual networking. The woodland walk winds through quieter corners, perfect when guests need a moment away from the main celebration. Ground-level access throughout means everyone can move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces, with accessible facilities ensuring comfort for all guests. Our secure gated entrance and 40-space car park make arrivals stress-free, while our location near the Birkenhead tunnel brings guests from both the Wirral and city centre within easy reach. From intimate birthday parties beneath the apple trees to networking brunches spilling between cafe and garden, art classes using natural light, or workshops inspired by our seasonal plantings, this combined space adapts beautifully to your vision.
