The **Second Floor Gallery** transforms from serene art space to buzzing event venue with remarkable ease. We've hosted everything from startup launches where tech founders pitched beneath our gothic arches, to wedding receptions where couples exchanged vows surrounded by contemporary artworks and those magnificent vaulted ceilings. Our neo-gothic windows are the real showstoppers here, stretching up towards those soaring ceilings and bathing the white walls in Birmingham daylight. The polished concrete floors create this brilliant contrast with the heritage architecture above, giving you both history and modernity in one sweep. When evening falls, the space takes on a completely different character, with uplighting playing across the architectural details. We can comfortably fit 250 people for drinks and mingling, or set up banquet tables for 60 if you're planning a seated dinner. Theatre-style, we've arranged chairs for 100 guests watching everything from fashion shows to charity auctions. The minimalist design means your decorations and theme take centre stage, whether that's projection mapping for a product launch or floral installations for a celebration. Our technical setup includes proper PA equipment and music systems, plus Wi-Fi that actually handles everyone posting Instagram stories simultaneously. The air conditioning keeps things comfortable even when the dance floor gets packed. We're fully accessible too, with lifts serving all floors and wheelchair access throughout. Being right by New Street Station and surrounded by Brindleyplace's restaurants makes logistics straightforward for your guests.
