The Chaca room sits tucked away on the upper floor of Black Dog Ballroom, a proper Manchester hideaway with its own private entrance that keeps your party feeling exclusive. We've created this loft bar for groups who want something more intimate, with space for up to 40 guests who appreciate a good game of pool alongside their pints. Rich wooden panels wrap around the walls, meeting plush red leather seating that runs the length of the room, giving everyone a comfortable spot to settle in between rounds at the pool table. Our bartenders work the private bar throughout your event, mixing drinks without anyone having to venture downstairs to the main crowds. During afternoon gatherings, daylight streams through the large windows that line one wall, while come evening, our pendant lights cast that perfect amber glow that makes everyone look good. The pool table anchors the space, becoming the natural gathering point where deals get struck over trick shots and friendships form over friendly competition. For groups wanting to turn things up a notch, we can arrange access to our karaoke booth, though there's an extra charge for that particular brand of entertainment. Our PA system and music setup mean you control the soundtrack, whether that's background jazz for networking drinks or something livelier as the night progresses. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Oxford Road Station just around the corner. Do note that reaching Chaca means climbing stairs, as we're a proper loft space without lift access. Our in-house catering team can sort everything from canapés to full spreads, working with you to match the food to your event style.
