Upstairs at the Rose & Crown, our Function Room spans across the first floor with those striking arched ceilings that catch everyone's eye when they first walk in. We've watched countless celebrations unfold here, from golden wedding anniversaries where 75 guests sat down to three-course dinners, to corporate award ceremonies using our large screen and PA system to recognise team achievements. The space works brilliantly for different setups. We regularly arrange it theatre-style for 85 people watching presentations on our projector, or create a more intimate boardroom feel for 40 when local businesses need somewhere professional yet relaxed. The wooden floors and white walls give you a blank canvas, while natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events. Come evening, our soft lighting creates just the right mood for parties. Our private bar runs the full length of one wall, meaning your guests never have to venture downstairs for drinks. The dedicated toilet facilities up here keep everything contained too. When the formalities are done, we clear the centre for dancing, and that's when the room really comes alive. We've seen some spectacular first dances at wedding receptions, and birthday parties that had three generations on the dance floor together. Round tables dressed in white linens seat eight comfortably, though we can switch to long banquet tables or clear everything for a standing reception of up to 100. Our team handles all the furniture moving, so you just need to tell us your vision. The projector and PA system are included, connecting easily to laptops for slideshows or playlists. Getting here from Nottingham city centre takes just minutes, with buses stopping directly outside. Free parking in our car park means your guests won't be circling for spaces or feeding meters. We'll sort your buffet requirements too, from finger food platters to full hot spreads.
