The Main Room pulses with the kind of energy that keeps Edinburgh's party crowd coming back week after week. Four luxurious party booths frame our central dance floor, creating intimate spaces where groups can settle in with bottle service while staying part of the action below. From these raised positions, you get the full effect of The Grid, our custom-built lighting installation of 60 pixel bars that transforms the ceiling into a living canvas of light, controlled remotely via Madrix and iPad Pro. We've engineered every element to work in harmony. Our state-of-the-art sound system delivers crystal-clear beats that you feel as much as hear, while The Grid above responds to the music, washing the room in waves of colour that match the rhythm. The dance floor itself becomes a stage where hundreds move as one, surrounded by the glow from our LED features and the energy radiating from the booth areas. Beyond the party atmosphere, The Main Room reveals its versatility. We regularly transform the space for corporate events, clearing the dance floor to accommodate seated dinners for up to 150 guests. The sophisticated lighting dims to create an entirely different ambiance, while our sound system adapts perfectly for presentations or background music. The booth areas convert into breakout spaces or VIP sections, maintaining their luxury feel regardless of the event type. The room holds up to 500 guests for standing receptions, making it one of George Street's largest single event spaces. Whether you're planning a product launch, company celebration, or private party, the combination of our technical capabilities and flexible layout means we can shape The Main Room to match your vision, all while maintaining the underground mystique that makes our basement location beneath The Dome so distinctive.
