The Terrace brings together the best of Nailcote Hall Hotel's historic charm with everything you need for a modern celebration. This lower ground floor space opens up to accommodate 100 standing guests or 70 seated for dining, with lift access making arrival easy for everyone. The moment your guests step inside, they'll notice the warmth created by traditional tartan carpeting paired with soft neutral walls. Natural light pours through large windows during daytime events, while classic wall sconces create an intimate atmosphere as evening falls. We've designed the room to flow naturally between dining and dancing, with a private bar positioned perfectly for easy access throughout your event. Our in-house catering team prepares everything fresh, with menus spanning traditional British fare to international cuisines. We regularly cater for halal, kosher and gluten-free requirements, though you're welcome to bring your own caterer if you prefer. The bar stays open until 2am, stocked with local ales, fine wines and spirits, ensuring the celebration continues long into the night. For speeches and presentations, we've installed a projector and PA system that connects seamlessly with your devices via our Wi-Fi network. The flexible layout means we can arrange tables for an intimate wedding breakfast, clear the floor for dancing, or set up networking areas for corporate celebrations, whatever suits your vision. Many couples choose The Terrace for wedding receptions after ceremonies in our gardens, while companies book it for festive parties and milestone celebrations. The 15-acre grounds provide beautiful photo opportunities, and with 49 bedrooms on-site, your guests can simply retire upstairs when the party ends.
