The Sefton Suite's magnificent wooden panelling catches your eye the moment you step inside, its rich walnut tones echoing the craftsmanship of a bygone era. We often hear guests comparing it to the first-class lounges of legendary ocean liners, and honestly, they're not wrong. The centrepiece chandelier throws warm light across the red carpeting, creating an atmosphere that photographs beautifully and feels even better in person. With space for 250 guests at a standing reception or 200 in theatre seating, we've hosted everything from grand wedding receptions to product launches here. The room adapts brilliantly, whether you're planning an intimate boardroom meeting for 50 or a lavish banquet for 150. Those period alcoves along the walls? Perfect for drinks stations during cocktail hours or quiet conversation spots during networking events. Natural light pours through the tall windows during daytime events, though the room takes on a completely different character in the evening when the chandelier and wall sconces create a more intimate glow. We've equipped the suite with everything modern events demand, projector, PA system, and reliable Wi-Fi, all discretely integrated to preserve the room's historic character. Getting here couldn't be easier. Lime Street Station sits just minutes away on foot, and we've got on-site parking for those driving in. The entire space is wheelchair accessible, including the facilities, because everyone should be able to enjoy what the Sefton Suite has to offer. External caterers are welcome if you've got something specific in mind, though our own kitchens have been perfecting event menus since 1826. The high ceilings mean the acoustics work beautifully for speeches and presentations, while the flexible layout lets us configure the space exactly as your event requires, from U-shaped corporate workshops to cabaret-style charity dinners.
