Welcome to Sobremesa Bar, where Birmingham's creative energy meets the warmth of your favorite local. We've carved out this corner of The Mockingbird as a space that feels both familiar and surprising, perfect for gatherings that deserve more than the usual pub function room. Our bar stretches along one wall, backlit by those neon lights everyone loves to photograph, while paper lanterns drift overhead like colourful clouds. We've mixed plush sofas with high bar stools, creating natural conversation zones whether you're catching up with old friends or making new connections. The whole space holds up to 50 standing guests comfortably, or we can arrange seating for 40 if you prefer a more relaxed setup. Those big windows flood the room with natural light during daytime events, transforming into a moody glow come evening when the neons really come alive. Our PA system and sound equipment are ready for whatever soundtrack fits your celebration, from your carefully curated playlist to that DJ you've been wanting to book. The bar team knows their craft, mixing everything from craft cocktails to proper pints, always with a smile. Getting here couldn't be easier, with Moor Street and Bordesley stations both a short stroll away. We've made sure everyone can enjoy the space too, with step-free access throughout and parking right outside.
