The Brunel Room greets wedding guests with its magnificent 17th-century fireplace, where centuries-old carvings tell their own stories beneath an intriguing historical inscription. We've watched countless couples exchange vows in front of this remarkable centerpiece, its detailed stonework creating an unforgettable backdrop for ceremony photographs. Oak-paneled walls wrap around the space, their rich grain catching the natural light that streams through our large windows throughout the day. The original parquet flooring has been lovingly maintained since Edwardian times, its intricate patterns adding warmth underfoot as your guests move between ceremony seating and reception celebrations. Above, our classic chandelier casts romantic lighting across the intricately designed ceiling, transforming from bright afternoon ceremonies to intimate evening receptions. We configure The Brunel Room to suit your vision, comfortably hosting up to 50 guests whether you're planning theatre-style seating for your ceremony, a standing reception with canapés, or formal dining arrangements. The room's proportions work beautifully for both parts of your day, many couples choose to hold their ceremony here before guests spill out into our other spaces for drinks while we reset for your wedding breakfast.
