The Stratfield Room catches morning light through its French windows in a way that makes even budget meetings feel special. We've hosted everything from board presentations to strategy sessions in this space, and it works particularly well when you need people to actually talk to each other rather than hide behind laptops. The room holds 18 people comfortably around our wooden table, or we can arrange it for 28 if you're planning something less formal. Those garden views through the windows do more for concentration than any motivational poster ever could. When discussions get heated, we often suggest a quick walk outside, the grounds have a way of putting things in perspective. Our venue sits on 35 acres of private Hampshire countryside, halfway between Reading and Basingstoke. The A33 is close enough for easy access but far enough that you won't hear it. We've got proper parking, so no one's circling the block looking for spaces or feeding meters during your session. The fireplace is decorative these days, but it adds character to the room. Wall sconces and a chandelier provide the lighting, though honestly, the natural light usually does most of the work. We've installed reliable Wi-Fi that actually handles video calls, and the PA system works without feedback or fuss. For longer sessions, our catering team can arrange working lunches or proper breaks. The gardens make excellent breathing space between sessions, and if key participants need to stay overnight, we have rooms available. The Queen Anne architecture gives meetings a sense of occasion without trying too hard, sometimes a change of scenery is exactly what teams need to think differently.
