The Broadcasting House Event Space combines the best of professional functionality with those touches that make meetings actually enjoyable. Walking into this corner of our venue, you'll find deep blue walls paired with warm wooden floors, while natural light pours through the large windows overlooking Newcastle's bustling streets. We've designed this space to work however you need it. For board meetings, we can comfortably seat 18 around the table, with everyone having clear sightlines for presentations on our flatscreen TVs. When it's time for networking events or larger gatherings, the room opens up to welcome 100 standing guests, with plenty of space to mingle between the comfortable sofas and armchairs we've positioned throughout. The tech setup here gets regular use from our members, superfast Wi-Fi that handles multiple video calls without breaking a sweat, flipcharts for brainstorming sessions, and screens positioned so nobody's craning their neck during presentations. Those exposed ducts and industrial lighting fixtures aren't just for show either, they provide excellent illumination for everything from detailed contract reviews to evening receptions. What really makes this space work is its flexibility. We've hosted strategy sessions that turned into impromptu celebrations, product launches that needed both presentation space and networking areas, and training days where teams spread out across the different seating zones. The plants dotted around aren't just decorative, they help create distinct areas within the room while keeping the atmosphere fresh. Monument and Haymarket stations are both within easy walking distance, which means your attendees won't be stressed about finding us. Our onsite team handles the technical setup, and we can arrange catering to keep everyone fuelled throughout your event.
