Our Budongo Board Room transforms the typical boardroom experience with something you won't find anywhere else in Edinburgh. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, your team will meet alongside our resident chimpanzees, who go about their daily activities just metres away in their enclosure. We've watched countless meetings pause mid-discussion as delegates become captivated by the primates' social dynamics, often finding unexpected parallels to their own workplace challenges. The room itself seats 12 people around our polished wooden boardroom table, with cream upholstered chairs that keep everyone comfortable during long strategy sessions. Natural light pours in throughout the day, eliminating that closed-in feeling common to many meeting spaces. When presentations are needed, our integrated audiovisual equipment handles everything from simple slideshows to video conferences, all controlled from the table without disrupting the flow of discussion. We're positioned just outside Edinburgh city centre, with regular buses stopping nearby and complimentary parking available for those driving. The journey here takes you away from office buildings and traffic, arriving instead at our 200-year-old Mansion House set within 82 acres of parkland. Many groups appreciate this mental shift that happens during the short journey, arriving ready to think differently. The air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable year-round, particularly appreciated during summer months when the sun streams through those windows. We've hosted everything from executive board meetings to creative brainstorming sessions, team away days to confidential discussions.
