The Lord Camrose room sits on the first floor of our main house, where morning light pours through generous windows overlooking the hotel's woodland grounds. Named after Lord Camrose who occupied the house during World War II, this space combines historical character with everything you need for productive meetings. Walk into the room and you'll notice the classic chandelier casting warm light across patterned carpets, while carefully chosen artwork adds personality to the walls. We've designed the space to work flexibly with your requirements, whether you're arranging 30 delegates around our boardroom table, setting up theatre-style seating for 50, or creating a more social cabaret layout for 32 guests. The U-shaped configuration works particularly well for training sessions, accommodating 26 participants who can all see each other clearly. The pull-down screen integrates smoothly into presentations, while air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable regardless of the season. Just outside, our dedicated foyer provides the perfect spot for coffee breaks and informal conversations between sessions. Your delegates can stretch their legs here while taking in views of the Hampshire countryside through the period windows. We find the room works beautifully for board meetings, training workshops, and strategic planning sessions. The combination of natural daylight and controllable lighting means you can adjust the atmosphere throughout the day, from bright morning brainstorms to focused afternoon presentations. The first-floor location offers a sense of privacy and quiet focus, away from the bustle of the ground floor. Free parking makes arrival straightforward for all your attendees, and our location just off the M3 means colleagues can reach us easily from London, Reading, or Southampton. After your meeting, groups often explore nearby attractions like Jane Austen's House or enjoy a working lunch in our AA Rosette restaurant.
