The Shaw room offers a focused environment for teams of up to eight people, arranged around our substantial wooden boardroom table. We've kept the design deliberately clean, with carefully chosen artwork breaking up the neutral walls and modern chairs that remain comfortable through those longer strategy sessions. This interior meeting space relies on our overhead lighting system rather than windows, which many of our regular bookers actually prefer for presentations and video calls. The controlled lighting eliminates glare on screens and creates consistent conditions throughout the day. We've positioned the room away from the main traffic areas of our four-storey building, so you won't hear the usual office bustle during important discussions. The table provides plenty of space for laptops, documents, and the inevitable coffee cups that appear during brainstorming sessions. Our high-speed Wi-Fi reaches every corner, and the video conferencing setup connects reliably whether your colleagues are joining from our London offices or halfway around the world. The room temperature stays consistent year-round, something our members particularly appreciate during those back-to-back meeting days. Shaw works equally well for different meeting styles. We see HR teams conducting confidential interviews here, consultants presenting to clients, and project teams hammering out technical details. The boardroom layout naturally encourages discussion while maintaining clear sightlines to any presentations at the head of the table. Our central Newbury location means participants can reach us easily, with both train stations just minutes away. The M4 provides quick access for those driving, with parking available nearby.
