The Ashdown Suite offers third-floor views across Brighton, with the pier visible in the distance when you step out between sessions. We've designed this space to adapt to your needs, whether you're planning a training workshop for 60 in classroom style or a company presentation for up to 120 guests in theatre configuration. The chandelier overhead brings a professional polish to the room without feeling overly formal, while our modern carpet and comfortable seating keep delegates focused throughout long sessions. We can arrange the 19.60m x 6m space in multiple ways: U-shape for 58 participants when discussion is key, boardroom style for 48 when you need that executive feel, or cabaret layout for 100 when networking matters as much as the content. Our venue provides all the technical essentials already set up: LCD projector, microphone system, flip charts with fresh markers, and whiteboards positioned for easy visibility. The lighting system compensates well for the lack of natural light, keeping energy levels up even during afternoon sessions. When you need breakout discussions, we can partition the suite into smaller sections, each maintaining that same professional atmosphere. Getting here couldn't be simpler. We're walking distance from Brighton station, with on-site parking available for those driving in. The beach sits right across from us, perfect for clearing heads during lunch breaks. Our events team, particularly Fran who many clients request by name, handles everything from last-minute AV adjustments to ensuring the coffee stays hot. They've become known for spotting what's needed before you even ask. The Open Lobby downstairs serves as additional informal meeting space, with Starbucks coffee and comfortable seating for those pre-meeting preparations or post-session debriefs.
