The Screwpull room brings together exposed brick walls and original wooden beams to create a space where focused discussions flow as smoothly as the wine this room is named after. We've designed this intimate meeting room to accommodate up to 14 delegates in either boardroom or banquet configuration, making it perfect for executive meetings, client presentations, or team workshops that require a more personal touch. Polished wooden tables run the length of the room, surrounded by our signature leather chairs that keep everyone comfortable through extended sessions. The warm glow from wall sconces and carefully placed lighting creates an atmosphere that encourages open dialogue, while the brick walls provide excellent acoustics for confidential conversations. Though the room doesn't have windows, the thoughtful lighting design maintains energy levels throughout your meeting. Our venue sits in a Victorian mock-Tudor building right in the city centre, next to the famous Brighton Pier. Your delegates can reach us in under 15 minutes on foot from Brighton station, with the Lanes' independent shops and cafes providing interesting break-time diversions just outside our doors. The seafront lies a mere five-minute walk away when fresh air is needed between sessions.
