About Amazing Grace
St. Thomas Church has been standing in London Bridge since 1192, and we've transformed this Grade II listed building into Amazing Grace—where live music pulses through centuries-old walls. Our main floor holds up to 300 standing guests beneath soaring church ceilings, while 3D mapping projections dance across the original stonework during performances. We've kept the church's architectural bones while building in everything modern events need. The ground floor centers around our main bar, surrounded by comfortable seating areas that flow into an open dance floor. Upstairs on the mezzanine level, another 100 guests can gather with their own private bar service while looking down at the stage action below. The elevated position gives everyone up there perfect sightlines for concerts and performances. Our kitchen serves up Asian street food throughout events—think Japanese Fried Chicken, Vietnamese Tofu, and Korean Potato Bites that guests can grab between sets. Behind the bars, we pour our own Amazing Grace lager alongside craft beers, cocktails mixed to order, wines, and non-alcoholic options. The food works whether people are networking at corporate gatherings or celebrating at private parties. Music drives what we do here. Throughout the week, we host bands and DJs covering everything from indie rock to electronic sets, using our professional sound system that fills the space without overwhelming conversation. Corporate teams book us for product launches and company celebrations, while music promoters use the venue for album releases and showcase events. The combination of our historic architecture, modern projection mapping, and live performance capabilities creates an atmosphere you won't find in standard function rooms. We're a quick walk from London Bridge station, with Borough Market and The Shard practically next door.
