At Armada House, we've transformed this Edwardian gem into Bristol's most adaptable event space, where original 16th-century features meet contemporary functionality. Our building spans four floors right in the Old City, just a short walk from Bristol Temple Meads station, making it convenient for guests travelling from across the region. The moment you step into our grand foyer, the original marble flooring and restored chandelier set the tone for what's to come. We've kept the building's soul intact – that magnificent fireplace from the 1500s still commands attention, while our modern lighting systems let you create exactly the atmosphere you need. Our Elizabeth Suite remains the star for larger gatherings. The original parquet floors gleam under natural light from the tall windows, and we've installed a marble-topped oak bar that becomes a natural focal point. With our integrated AV system and Rako mood lighting, you can transform the space from bright conference setup to intimate evening reception. We can accommodate 170 guests for standing receptions or seat 120 comfortably for dinner. For more intimate occasions, our Wallace Lounge works beautifully. The curved oak bar and period chandeliers create an instantly welcoming space for up to 60 guests. We've also restored five meeting rooms on the first floor – each with its own character but equipped with everything modern businesses need. Beyond the main spaces, our basement speakeasy bar offers something completely different. It's where many wedding parties end up late into the evening. The rooftop terrace bar provides another dimension entirely – perfect for summer networking or pre-dinner drinks with views across Bristol. Our kitchen stays open all day, unlimited Wi-Fi runs throughout, and we maintain comprehensive AV equipment in every space. We handle weddings, product launches, conferences, and celebrations of all kinds, working with you to shape each event to your exact requirements.
