We've transformed this historic space into something truly special - where else in London can you play pétanque underground while sipping pastis? Our indoor pétanque court remains the only one in the UK, and watching groups discover it for the first time never gets old. Whether your guests are seasoned players or complete beginners, the court becomes the heart of any party. Between games, they can challenge each other at our classic French Babyfoot table or settle into one of our intimate booths with a drink. Speaking of drinks, we're particularly proud of our bar. Our bartenders craft Provençal-inspired cocktails that change with the seasons, and we've built one of London's most extensive collections of absinthe and pastis. The wine list features special imports from Corsica and the South of France that you won't find elsewhere. For those wanting to graze, we serve proper Provençal snacks - panisse, Corsican charcuterie, olives, and mixed nuts that pair perfectly with the drinks. The cellar's dramatic vaulted architecture creates distinct spaces throughout the venue. We can accommodate up to 120 guests for full venue hire, making it perfect for birthday parties, wedding receptions, or corporate events where you want something different. The private dining room offers a lighter, more intimate setting for smaller celebrations or bridal showers. We're open Tuesday through Saturday from 5pm, just a short walk from City Thameslink and Temple stations.
