About Control Room B
The massive turbine hall stretches out below our private mezzanine at Control Room B, where we've transformed a working power station control room into one of London's most extraordinary party venues. We're perched high above Battersea Power Station's industrial floor, surrounded by the original 1950s control desks where engineers once powered half of London. Our centerpiece catches everyone's eye first - a turbine-inspired radial bar that curves through the space, its design echoing the massive generators that once hummed in the halls below. We've kept every authentic detail from the station's operational days: the switchgear racks, the restored dials and gauges, even the original control panels where technicians monitored the city's electricity flow. These aren't replicas - they're the actual equipment, carefully restored to show exactly how this place looked when it was keeping London's lights on. During the day, we serve champagne, specialty coffee, and fresh pastries to guests exploring the power station. Come evening, our bartenders craft premium cocktails behind that spectacular turbine bar while up to 250 party guests spread across our mezzanine floor. We've added contemporary furniture in bold colors that pop against the industrial steel and concrete, creating perfect spots for mingling or taking in the views. For groups wanting something different, we run the "Escape The Power Cut" experience right here in the control room, plus audio-guided tours that reveal how this building powered the capital for decades.
