About County Arms
The County Arms has been serving locals since 1852, right here on the edge of Wandsworth Common. We've kept our Victorian heritage alive with those striking red composite pillars and the ornate fireplace that catches everyone's eye when they first walk in. The chessboard tiling around the bar? Original features we'd never dream of changing. Our beer garden backs right onto the common - it's where most celebrations end up on sunny days. We've added garden huts for when the weather turns, plus a raised terrace that gives you views across the green. Inside, we've got the traditional bar area where regulars prop up the counter, and a quieter lounge space with those colourful, comfortable chairs everyone seems to love. For parties and events, we open up either the Belvedere Room or the Trinity Room. The Belvedere's our showpiece - it holds up to 120 people and we've hosted everything from 50th birthday bashes to company Christmas parties in there. The Trinity Room works better for smaller groups who want their own space without feeling lost in it. Food-wise, we stick to British pub classics done properly. Everything's sourced as locally as we can manage, and our Sunday roasts have become something of a tradition for families around here. During matches, we fire up the large screen projector and plasma screens throughout the pub - saves arguments about who gets the best view. We're just off the A214, so easy to find whether you're coming from central London or further south. Our events team handles the details for christenings, office gatherings, birthday parties - whatever you're planning. They know the spaces inside out and can suggest the best setup for your group size and style of celebration.
