About Danson Stables
At Danson Stables, we've been pouring pints and hosting celebrations in our Grade-II listed building since it stopped being an actual stable in the 1700s. The old stable blocks still frame our pub, and we've kept the original character while making sure everything works for modern parties and gatherings. Our private hire spaces work brilliantly for different types of events. We've hosted everything from 50th birthday parties in our main bar area to wedding receptions that spill out into the beer garden. Corporate teams love booking our spaces for their Christmas parties, and we regularly see hen parties enjoying our bottomless brunch packages (£35 for two hours). The secret garden with its new fire pit has become a favourite spot for summer birthday celebrations. We rotate our beers regularly, always keeping Bexley's Own on tap alongside craft ales that change with the seasons. Our kitchen serves proper pub food - think hearty pies, fish and chips, and our famous Sunday roasts where we genuinely don't limit the Yorkshire puddings, roasties, or gravy. Vegetarians and vegans have proper choices too, not just afterthoughts, and kids get their own menu. The beer garden transforms depending on what you need - we've set up marquees for wedding receptions, arranged picnic tables for family reunions, and created cosy corners for anniversary dinners. Our HD screens come in handy for sporting events, and we bring in live bands for special occasions. Dogs are welcome in the bar and gardens, we've got baby changing facilities, accessible toilets, and strong Wi-Fi throughout. Just a short walk from Bexleyheath train station, surrounded by countryside views, we offer a proper escape without the trek.
