Step into the old gold vaults beneath the Square Mile, where we've transformed the former Bank of England stronghold into Gaucho City of London. Our restaurant sits right across from Leadenhall Market, giving you a front-row seat to one of London's most characterful corners while you dine in what used to secure the nation's wealth. When we redesigned the space in 2023, we brought the Andes indoors – quite literally. A sweeping mural of the mountain range now dominates one wall, setting the scene for our carbon-neutral Argentinian steaks. Our chefs work with classic cuts and sharing platters that showcase the best of the Pampas, while our sommeliers guide you through wines that tell their own South American stories. For parties and events, we've carved out several distinct spaces within these historic vaults. Our two private dining rooms welcome groups of 18 and 36 seated guests, perfect for those celebrations that call for their own dedicated space. The conference room handles 30 for more formal occasions, while our cocktail lounge opens up for standing receptions of up to 100 people – imagine your guests mingling beneath the curved vault ceilings with classic cocktails in hand. We've kept all the practical elements you need: full AV equipment for presentations, air conditioning that keeps the underground space comfortable year-round, and a proper cloakroom for coats and bags. The vaults' natural acoustics create an intimate atmosphere whether you're hosting a milestone birthday, corporate celebration, or holiday party.
