Joseph Chamberlain's former home has welcomed thousands of guests through our doors since 1876, and we're proud to continue that tradition today at Highbury Hall. Our Victorian mansion sits just three miles from Birmingham city centre, surrounded by landscaped grounds that make you forget you're so close to the city. The Main Hall remains the heart of our Grade II listed building, stretching up two storeys with the original minstrel's gallery still overlooking the space below. We've hosted everything here from corporate conferences to wedding receptions, with room for up to 100 seated guests. The acoustics in this space are remarkable - something our corporate clients particularly appreciate during presentations. Our Drawing Room, Morning Room, and Breakfast Room each offer their own character. The south-facing windows flood these rooms with natural light and provide views across the terrace and parkland beyond. We find these smaller spaces work brilliantly for board meetings, breakout sessions, or intimate wedding ceremonies. The Morning Room, with its period features intact, creates a particularly special atmosphere for civil ceremonies. Speaking of weddings, we're licensed for civil ceremonies and can accommodate 100 guests for your main celebration, with space for an additional 60 in the evening. Our catering team works from the original Victorian kitchens, preparing everything fresh on-site. Whether you need working lunches for a conference, formal dining for a charity fundraiser, or a wedding breakfast, we adapt our menus to suit. The grounds themselves provide excellent opportunities for photographs or simply stepping outside during meeting breaks. Despite our countryside feel, we're easily reached by road and rail - practical details that matter when you're organizing an event. Our gothic arches and high vaulted ceilings create an atmosphere you won't find in modern venues, while our facilities meet all contemporary requirements for successful meetings, parties, and weddings.
