About Hoxton Arches
Our railway arch venue Hoxton Arches sits right beneath Hoxton Overground station, where trains rumble overhead adding character to your celebrations. We've carefully restored this 2,500 square foot space while keeping all the original features that make it special - the exposed brickwork tells stories from decades past, and those soaring arched ceilings create an incredible sense of space that photographs beautifully. The venue flows across two connected rooms, giving you options for how you want to use the space. Our main room opens directly onto the street through large doors, making load-in straightforward whether you're bringing in a DJ setup or elaborate decorations. We've installed adjustable flood lighting throughout, so you can dial up the brightness for daytime gatherings or create moodier atmospheres for evening parties. Those two 12x8-foot movable walls? They're on wheels, so you can section off areas for a bar, photo booth, or quieter conversation space. Our enclosed backyard becomes a real asset during warmer months - guests naturally spill outside for fresh air between dancing, and we've seen some creative setups with outdoor bars and lounge areas back there. The concrete floors throughout mean you don't need to worry about spills or high heels, and we've got proper disabled access sorted. The kitchen comes in handy for catering prep, and with two toilets, queues stay manageable even at capacity. We regularly host up to 200 people for standing receptions, or seat 110 comfortably at long tables for sit-down dinners. Birthday parties, engagement celebrations, and milestone anniversaries all work brilliantly here. The industrial backdrop particularly suits themed parties - we've seen everything from prohibition-era speakeasies to underground raves come to life in our arches.
