Right across from South Kensington Underground station, we're the Institut français du Royaume-Uni - an Art Deco treasure that brings eight distinct spaces to life for meetings and celebrations. Our heritage building has been hosting everything from boardroom conferences to cocktail parties since its doors first opened. Walk through our marble-floored Le Foyer and you'll see why film producers choose our sweeping staircase for press events. The space naturally draws people in, whether they're arriving for a product launch or heading to one of our two cinemas. Ciné Lumière, our main screening room, transforms from morning presentations to evening film premieres, while the more intimate Ciné Lumière II works perfectly for smaller groups who need that cinema experience. Our Grade II listed Library catches everyone by surprise - wood panels line the walls, daylight streams through tall windows, and yes, it houses the UK's largest free-access collection of French materials. We've seen it become the backdrop for everything from author readings to champagne receptions. The books stay put during events, creating natural conversation points throughout the evening. Les Salons combines original period details with the practicality modern events demand - we've installed all the AV equipment you'd expect while keeping the character intact. Teams use it for acoustic performances one week, corporate strategy sessions the next. L'Atelier and Le Studio offer more flexibility for workshops and training days, with furniture we can arrange however works best for your group. Brasserie Gazette handles our catering right here in the building, from working lunches to three-course dinners. Every space comes with Wi-Fi and projection capabilities. We've hosted AGMs in the morning and baby showers by afternoon - each event finds its own character within these walls.
