Our grand staircase catches everyone's eye when they first walk into Leyton Library on High Road. We've designed this space to be more than just a place for books – it's become a real community hub where natural light floods through the windows onto both our wooden and carpeted floors throughout the building. We offer several spaces perfect for different needs. Our meeting rooms work brilliantly for business presentations or community group discussions, while our office rooms provide quiet spaces for focused work. The large multipurpose room has hosted everything from educational workshops to cultural celebrations – its flexibility means we can configure it for whatever you're planning. For those needing technology, our laptop suite provides the equipment and space to work comfortably. Everyone who visits can enjoy our free Wi-Fi and PC access, making it easy to stay connected while you're here. We maintain an extensive collection that goes beyond traditional books – our eBooks and eAudiobooks mean you can access resources in whatever format suits you best. What makes our space special is how different groups use it throughout the week. Our 'We Are Friends' sessions bring together older adults and children under five for stories and songs, creating wonderful intergenerational connections. The 'Stay and Play' sessions give under-fives space to explore and learn, while our adult film club transforms the multipurpose room into a cinema experience. Whether you're organizing a community gathering, planning an educational workshop, or looking to host a cultural event, our spaces adapt to your needs. We're open Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 12pm to 4pm. We also offer discounts for concessionary groups and regular hirers, making our spaces accessible to everyone in the E10 5QH community.
