About Linden and Cypress Event House
Nine bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, spread across our converted house at 21 Elmbridge Road in Gloucester. We've created something different here at Linden and Cypress Event House – a proper home environment where teams can work productively without feeling like they're stuck in another corporate box. The heart of our space is the sitting room, where we've set up a boardroom-style table that comfortably seats your team for focused discussions. When you need a break from the table, there's a separate lounge area with sofas where conversations tend to flow more naturally. We find groups often split between the two spaces throughout the day, using the formal setup for presentations and the casual seating for brainstorming. Our kitchen isn't just a tea-making station – it's a proper cooking space where teams prepare meals together or caterers can work efficiently. The dining room connects directly, so whether you're having working lunches or evening meals, everything flows smoothly. We've watched many productive conversations happen over shared meals at that dining table. The enclosed garden changes how people use the space, especially during warmer months. Teams take their laptops outside, hold walking meetings along the paths, or simply grab fresh air between sessions. Having outdoor space makes multi-day meetings feel less confined. With nine en-suite bedrooms, residential meetings work particularly well here. Teams arrive on Sunday evening, work intensively for a few days, and leave having accomplished more than weeks of video calls. The house setup means people naturally interact during breakfast or evening downtime, strengthening working relationships. Free parking removes one more logistics headache, and our GL2 location keeps you connected to Gloucester while providing a quiet environment for concentration. We provide WiFi throughout, though most groups tell us they appreciate being able to disconnect from their usual office distractions.
