About Lockleaze Sports Centre
We run a different kind of sports centre here at Lockleaze Sports Centre on Bonnington Walk in Bristol. As a not-for-profit charity, every pound you spend with us goes straight back into community programmes that help local people stay active and connected. Our Terrace Bar makes an unexpected venue for dining experiences, meetings, and celebrations. From this bright space, your guests can watch matches happening on our full-sized 4G pitches below while enjoying drinks from one of our two fully licensed bars. The outdoor terrace and viewing balcony give everyone plenty of room to mingle, whether you're hosting a business lunch for 30 or a wedding reception for up to 220 evening guests. For seated dinners and conferences, we accommodate up to 160 people comfortably. Our kitchen team handles everything from working lunches to three-course celebration meals, and we work with you to create menus that suit your event and budget. The modern changing rooms come in handy for wedding parties who need somewhere to prepare, while our dedicated event coordinators help manage the practical details. Beyond the Terrace Bar, the whole centre buzzes with activity. Four covered padel courts stay lit until late, the Multi-Use Games Area hosts everything from netball tournaments to community sports festivals, and our rugby and hockey pitches see constant action. This energy creates a unique backdrop for events - where else can you hold a conference while a youth football match plays out below? We've hosted wedding receptions that spill onto the terrace for summer evening drinks, corporate team-building days that use both meeting spaces and sports facilities, and family celebrations that let kids play while adults relax.
