About LSO St Luke's
Our Grade I-listed building on Old Street started life as an 18th-century church, and today we've transformed it into one of London's most distinctive venues. The moment you step into LSO St Luke's, you'll understand why musicians and event planners keep coming back—the acoustics in our Jerwood Hall are something special, whether you're hosting a chamber concert or delivering a keynote speech. The main hall accommodates 414 seated guests or 425 standing, with flexible staging that we can configure for your specific needs. We've installed acoustic banners, soundproof windows, and professional lighting and sound systems that work beautifully with the original architecture. Those high vaulted ceilings and enormous windows create an atmosphere you won't find in a typical conference center. Beyond the Jerwood Hall, we have the Crypt Café downstairs—perfect for networking drinks or registration—and the Clore Rooms for breakout sessions or smaller meetings. Our boardroom comes fully equipped with TV, screen and projector for presentations. Everything's fully accessible, and we're just minutes from Old Street Station, making it easy for your guests to reach us. We host everything from orchestra concerts to corporate conferences, award ceremonies to wedding receptions. The two mezzanine areas flanking the main hall offer additional perspectives and can serve as VIP areas or technical positions. Our in-house technical team knows every corner of this building and will help you make the most of the space. We work with approved caterers who understand how to serve in this unique environment. We're currently closed for renovations but will reopen in Autumn 2025.
