About Maker Wharf - Haggerston
At Maker Wharf, we've taken an old building at 2-10 Hertford Road and turned it into something special for London's makers and innovators. Our Haggerston space sits right by the Regents Canal, just steps from the Overground station, making it easy for members to drop in whether they're cycling along the towpath or hopping off the train. We built this space with freelancers and creative businesses in mind. The original warehouse bones are still here - those high ceilings and oversized windows that flood the place with natural light all day long. We've kept the industrial feel but made it comfortable for daily work. You'll find shared desks throughout the main floor, dedicated spots for those who want their own permanent setup, and a handful of private offices for teams needing their own space. Our kitchen is where the real community happens. Members make their morning coffee, heat up lunch, and often end up in conversations that turn into collaborations. We've got proper high-speed Wi-Fi that actually works when everyone's online, and since we know creative work doesn't follow a 9-to-5 schedule, members get 24-hour access with their key fobs. There's secure bike storage inside too - we know how many of you cycle here along the canal. We're particularly focused on supporting start-ups and scale-ups who are building sustainable businesses. The meeting rooms work for everything from client presentations to team workshops, and our event spaces regularly host member showcases and industry meetups.
