About Mary Sumner House
The original chandeliers still catch the morning light in our Mary Sumner Room, where board members often gather around the polished table beneath stained glass windows that have watched over Westminster discussions since the building earned its Grade II listing. We've carefully preserved these period features while ensuring our nine meeting spaces work perfectly for today's business needs. Our Conference Hall recently underwent a complete refurbishment and now welcomes up to 120 delegates in theatre-style seating. The audio-visual equipment integrates seamlessly with the room's classic architecture, making it equally suitable for policy discussions, training sessions, or company-wide presentations. Just down the corridor, the Malala Room and Mary Slessor Room provide more intimate settings for workshops or team meetings, each equipped with Wi-Fi and presentation capabilities. We understand accessibility matters. Our ramps and lifts ensure everyone can reach all meeting areas comfortably, and we've installed accessible facilities throughout Mary Sumner House. While we provide tea, coffee, biscuits and water for smaller meetings, many groups prefer to bring in external catering for lunch meetings or all-day conferences in the Conference Hall – we're happy to recommend local suppliers who know our spaces well. Walking to Westminster Abbey takes just minutes, and Parliament Square sits practically on our doorstep. This central location means your attendees can easily reach us via multiple transport routes. Whether you're planning high-profile interviews in our period rooms, organizing professional development workshops, or hosting conferences that bring together stakeholders from across London, our combination of historic character and practical amenities creates productive environments for meaningful conversations. Each room tells its own story while supporting the important work that happens within these walls every day.
